Moors Meadow

During half term I accompanied friends and family on a visit to Moors Meadow. None of us had been before though one had seen it on Gardeners World. It was a bit of an adventure trying to find it. Sadly it was a very wet day, but while we were there it was dry. Our shoes, socks and trousers got rather wet, but I did like the effect the rain drops had on the leaves and flowers.
I tried to record the names of flowers that I was told about on my phone. Not entirely sure I can match them up with the photos!
Looking out at the top of the meadows that go down from this point.
Candelabra primulas.  I liked these colours.
Entertainingly side stepping down the 'steep' hill.
Helibore - definitely learnt that one this year and last.
Lilac - just thought I needed to record as have seen so much of it this year.  Think I've only learnt that over the last two years.
At the bottom of the meadows next to the pond.
Something...
Fuchsia- I thought it was but wanted to check with my more senior flower colleagues!
The lady of the meadows named this as Japanese snowball viburnum - I liked the name.
Some irises in the pond.
I'm not sure what this is, but it looks slightly menacing in a pretty way!
Blue and white forget-me-nots.  Have never seen whites before!

I think just an atmospheric shot!
Up in the cottage garden/nursery area.
A strong smelling azalea.  Or is it rhododendron, or both?

The house, or as I like to think of it, the cottage.
Spiders web with the rain sitting on it.
A little water area.
Isn't that just my kind of swing :-)
