Monday 31st May

Half-term is here! Up on the hills with friends visiting from the old town.

Tuesday 1st June

Whitley Court.  We visited the adjacent church and had lunch there.  I was intrigued with what I'd heard of this place.  It's just a shell now, but bet you didn't notice that on a quick glance.  I would like to go back and soak it up some more some time.  It was raining at this point if you can tell by sky.

Wednesday 2nd June

Impressed with myself by starting the day washing my car - months overdue.  Needing doing before the ash cloud and certainly needed doing after!  There was a little translucent snail on the wheel.

Thursday 3rd June

Happy Birthday AS!  Lunch out with the family at one of my treat places in town.  Love that burger.  Though the meat this time isn't quite as I remember.  The sauce still good though.  Chunky chips rather fries.

Friday 4th June

A day of report writing outside.  Hot enough to even think about putting my washing outside to dry - didn't quite work though, mainly because it was the evening when I got round to it.  Put the pots on the patio. 

Saturday 5th June

Girly picnic by the river.  Love the laughs.

Another girly picnic by another stretch of river.  And what a picnic with Shakespeare's face gingerbread.
